that
you meet with a UMAP specialist.

One telephone call to Labor's
Community Agency by you or a member of your family is all
that is needed to start the process. Sometimes just a telephone conversation
will help
solve a problem before it gets out of hand. At other times, you may need to
consult with
one of the UMAP specialists.
When you contact Labor's Community Agency, a staff specialist will ask you
for some general
information and will set up an appointment for you as soon as possible.
Voluntary
Referrals
When you contact the Union Member Assistance Program on your own, no one
will know of your visit, unless you tell them.
All discussions between you and

maintained for family members. No
one outside the UMAP will get any information about you unless you request
it.
